about

Song: Since this EP jumps around so much in the story just to give an outline, this song comes later along in the storyline. It's at a point where Nea is trying to get Mae back from The Sandman and he has taken her voice away, at the same time it's about a flashback of them talking about leaving this dream realm together, and just start over. Mae being in a coma in the "real world" outside of the dream realm, her body is becoming close to death with Sandman toying with her spirit. Hence his line "I've got your life support right here, and I'm not going anywhere"

Recording: Keyboard was added later an 80's Moog hooked up through a crazy pedal system. Mike Herrera of MxPx was gracious enough to lend his vocals to this track in the end choruses. The laugh after the lyrics "and I'm not going anywhere" was an outtake by Jeremy Koury while cutting harmony vocals but was kept in.

lyrics

Where will we go from here. I thought we saw it all.Looks like we were wrong it's just another tail end of imagination. Will we ever get out alive I don't care anymore as long as we try Cause anything's better than this situation I'd rather die than never feel alive.
There's one thing to believe it's not much of a mystery I'll be a martyr you can be my sin we'll be each other's distraction.
So dream with me I know it's been a while I know it's been a while I've got your life support right here and I'm not going anywhere.
She speaks for the first time in forever. Her voice is as clear as air. If we go on forever What will we be? What will we be?
Can we be? Can we be? What will we be?
